NGC4631 Supernova

NGC4631 2021-02-04 m / 9.8, Distance / 30 million light-years A barred spiral galaxy facing right。 It looks like a whale or a herring, but to me it looks like a herring. Seeing condition was bad and the star image became large. You can see a small nebula in the distance on the lower right side! (Addition) Supernova AT2021biy in NGC4631 It is T2021biy discovered on January 29th. I noticed and edited the image again I’ve changed. The brightness is 16th magnitude.

Venus February 4, 2021

Venus 2021-02-04 (UT) The almost circular Venus will be the outer conjunction (on the other side of the Sun) on March 24th. This is the first time I have observe Venus in this phase. Although it is a small circulr, seeing is relatively good, and I can see the beautiful it. The apparent diameter of Venus was as small as 10 arcseconds, and it was only a featuren that was not clear even with UV and IR. Since sunlight enters the 45 cm telescopel and lowers the contrast, I attached an eccentric diaphragm with a diameter of 17 cm to take an image.

Asteroid (72) Feronia 12th magnitude star

Asteroid (72) Feronia 12th magnitude star occultation with 11th magnitude star was observed. 2021-02-03 02:42:47 From the seconds range to the 53 seconds range (JST, time signal of the telephone), the luminous intensity dropped a little and it looked wonderful. The east-side telescope moved to the west sky, and the bottom of the telescope was about to hit the floor, so it was chilled. The phenomenon that an asteroid far away from the earth hides in a star farther away is quite thrilling and interesting!

My equipment.

It’s about my equipment. The inner diameter of the oblique mirror bracket and tip ring of the 45 cm barrel has been increased to prevent eclipse. The 4-screw is not easy to operate, but it is good for working in the dark! The optical axis looks like this! The F-4 Newton is small. The red dot on the optical axis image is offset, 9 mm to the left. Align with the cross line collimator, and finally drive in with a star image.

M84, M86 (Virgo)

M84,M86. M84, M86. In the direction of Virgo, about 65 million light-years away, a large group of extragalactic galaxies “Virgo cluster. 45 cm F / 4 The field of view is 0.7 ° x 0.5 ° (ASP size) ). Since there are few colors of celestial bodies, I changed it to a monochrome image, and about 100 small galaxies will be shown! There is band noise in the direction of the galaxy. It is a preview image of 30 sheets of 30-second exposure (15 minutes in total).

Change of the self-made 45cm Newton oblique mirror adjustment screw

It is a change of the self-made 45cm Newton oblique mirror adjustment screw. I have a problem that the optical axis is out of order because I made it myself, and I am discouraged from taking pictures every time I make adjustments in my daily routine. From the work of aligning the final optical axis with the mirror cell, the troublesomeness has been eliminated by performing while looking at the star image by rotating the oblique mirror adjustment screw! This method is not perfect, but I think it is good at the moment. The screws have been changed from conventional hole set screws to screws with knobs. Since it is difficult to turn with 4 screws, you can change the height of 2 screws and turn it by hand easily and easily!

45cm telescope scenery

45cm telescope scenery. Last night, the polar alignment of the equatorial mount was performed for the first time in 5 years in order to improve the period deck motion of star tracking and improve the accuracy of automatic introduction. Equatorial mounts that are not aligned with the polar axis are out of the basics! The telescope landscape has been HDR processed to deceive the surroundings.

M42

M42 45 cm telescope, x120 the color of the central part is blue to green, and the 90 ° angle around it feels red. In the center, the shade of gas is complicated and its nice view!
