I would like to take over the LX-200 16-inch altazimuth mount (Autostar II) and transfer it to the C14 to use it as a hybrid telescope. Why? It doesn’t work like the instruction manual. If anyone knows, please let me know! !! ..

Partial lunar eclipse November 19, 2021

Partial lunar eclipse 2021-11-19 Mizuki, Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture I was worried about the evening weather, but it was better than expected. This time, I was able to see the lunar eclipse rising from the horizon of the Pacific Ocean for the first time. When I climbed from the horizon, I couldn’t see the moon because of the haze, but I immediately confirmed it with binoculars. I was impressed when the left side was already hung up. The path of moonlight shining between the waves was beautiful, and it was worth it to come to the sea. The lunar eclipse was almost total lunar eclipse, but I felt it was dark probably because of thin clouds. 20cm newtonian+sony α7s

Partial eclipse of Ganymede and Io

Jupiter 2021-11-16 (UT) 17 cm (45 cm eccentric aperture) newtonian. Seeing is too poor. The partial mutual eclipse between Ganymede and Io could be observed on clear sky, but the two cannot be separated due to bad seeing. Only the phenomenon was recorded.

Jupiter November 15, 2021

Jupiter 2021-11-15 (UT) In the evening, seeing is not stable. Only the color has a diameter of 17 cm (eccentric aperture), but the image has improved. GRS seems to be almost unchanged at the right end. Also, a star near the Galilean moons on Jupiter’s feature(HIP107302 Luminous intensity 5.96 etc.) is approaching

2nd Astronomical Observatory

2021-11-13 The 2nd Astronomical Observatory (To Be Maru Co., Ltd.) was held at the Kunou Country Club parking lot in Chiba prefecture on a cloudless clear night. Although there are trees on the west side of the parking lot, we enjoyed watching Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon with large and small telescopes from the evening. There were 19 participants (15 adults and 4 children), many of whom were new to watching the stars in earnest, and had them take a closer look at the moon. Participants brought their own telescopes, and there were many telescopes for the number of people. Thank you for cooperation. There was also warm pork soup, videos for toddlers and something to play with. The content has been enhanced since last year, and I think that you have a little understanding of the beauty of celestial bodies.
