1st Astronomical Observatory (TO Be Maru Co., Ltd.) November 14, 2020

2020-11-14 The 1st Astronomical Observatory (TO Be Maru Co., Ltd.) At the campsite of Narita Dream Dairy Farm, 13 adults and 3 children participated and helped with the mini-observation that also served as a camp. After dinner, we explained with an astronomical simulator and had them look into Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars in the evening with an actual astronomical telescope. Most participants were delighted to experience the real planet for the first time. We learned about the world of stars by seeing the famous Andromeda Galaxy, Subaru, and the Double Cluster of Perseus. In the future, we plan to hold an annual astronomical observation event.

Mars November 5, 2020

Mars 2020-11-05 (UT) The morning of Mars was missing from the circle, and the apparent diameter became as small as 19 arcseconds. The clouds on Mt. Tharsis in the evening are bright. In the morning, the morning mist hangs in a low place. In the Martian season, the Southern Hemisphere progresses from summer to autumn, with increased water vapor and mist and clouds.

Mars November 4, 2020

This is a depressing Mars image with many clouds. The white clouds around the evening sky (on the right side of Mars) are the clouds of Mount Tarsis.

astronomical observance

Helping the astronomical observation party. 2020-10-31 There was a small astronomical observation party at the Kinsa School Grande in Hitachiota City. Three telescopes have become gorgeous for families with three small children. After the explanation of the constellations, I saw Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the full moon. Did it really see it in its child’s eyes? I doubt it, but we enjoyed the observation party on a clear evening.

Mars October 31, 2020

Mars 2020-10-31 (UT) Fine weather and poor seeing every night. It can be seen that the morning mist and evening mist due to water vapor increase on the surface of Mars.
