Pillar stand

The other day, I got a pillar stand from friend. This stand is for Nikon’s 12cm binoculars and is tall. The pillar stand of the JP equatorial mount of C14 that I used so far is low, and I looked into it with a difficult to watch on Jupiter and Saturn, so I replaced it with this high pillar stand. I 1orderd it and had it processed with a tapping screw. After processing paint, I replaced the low pillars with Nikon pillars and it was ready to use everything. The height of the equatorial mount has increased, making it easier to see low planets, but when viewed from the side, C14 telescope over from the slit. The storage fits sideways (laughs)!

Jupiter  2021-06-11 (UT) It was frustrating because of the many clouds and frequent interruptions in imaging. Seeing is stable and the inside can be seen well. The white spot on the STB in the center on the south side is [BA], which is less bright and slightly yellow than the white spot on the south side. Its can clearly see the distinction like the clear coastline of NTBn in the Northern Hemisphere.

Jupiter 2021-06-09 (UT) This morning (June 10th), it was clear sky and seeing was good, and with the 45cm reflector, Jupiter feature looked very good even at 500 times, and the satellite Callisto feature could observe. Its can be seen up to high latitudes in the Southern Hemisphere of the CH4 image. The IR image shows the complexity of the belt near the center.

On Jupiter’s feature, GRS (Great Red Spot) can be seen on the far left. The orange color of GRS has become lighter than last year. In NEB, you can see a large bright part with a complicated feature (IR. IR-1000).
