Assistance for astronomical observation event (Oarai Sun Beach tsunami evacuation facility) 2020-12-19

2020-12-19 Assistance for astronomical observation event (Oarai Sun Beach tsunami evacuation facility). It was the first observation party among the new coronavirus infections In the evening, I observed the approach of Jupiter and Saturn, the Moon, the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Orion Nebula at a sandy beach facility in the Pacific Ocean. Most of the people saw it with a telescope for the first time, and I was deeply moved. The Orion constellation rising from the horizon was particularly beautiful.

Astronomical Observatory November 21, 2020

Helping the astronomical observation party. 2020-11-21 Hitachiota City Kinsago School It is an astronomical observation party with parents and children (20 people) of small children. In the evening, the ISS looked very good in the sky from the southwest to the northeast, and the participants were looking up at the sky. We explained today’s constellations indoors, and then I had them look into the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn with three telescopes. It seems that I was deeply moved by the telescope for the first time in the clear and wonderful sky.

1st Astronomical Observatory (TO Be Maru Co., Ltd.) November 14, 2020

2020-11-14 The 1st Astronomical Observatory (TO Be Maru Co., Ltd.) At the campsite of Narita Dream Dairy Farm, 13 adults and 3 children participated and helped with the mini-observation that also served as a camp. After dinner, we explained with an astronomical simulator and had them look into Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars in the evening with an actual astronomical telescope. Most participants were delighted to experience the real planet for the first time. We learned about the world of stars by seeing the famous Andromeda Galaxy, Subaru, and the Double Cluster of Perseus. In the future, we plan to hold an annual astronomical observation event.

astronomical observance

Helping the astronomical observation party. 2020-10-31 There was a small astronomical observation party at the Kinsa School Grande in Hitachiota City. Three telescopes have become gorgeous for families with three small children. After the explanation of the constellations, I saw Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the full moon. Did it really see it in its child’s eyes? I doubt it, but we enjoyed the observation party on a clear evening.

Constellation Direction

I used laser ponters to create the constellations. The green laser beam drew straight lines on the constellations in the night sky, and the image is quite, quite beautiful!

The Hoshinomura Starlight Festival in Fukushima

We participated in the Hoshinomura Starlight Festival in Fukushima. I was worried about the heavy rain caused by typhoon No. 14, but in the tent It was nice to be able to hold it! Get the iron meteorite and experience the patterning of the cut surface of the iron meteorite. Also I met Mr. Toyama, an engineer of equatorial mount drive design, and got a lot of astronomical information! Thank you, Mr. Ohno and Toyama.

Mars Observation Party October 6, 2020

Mars Observation Party 2020-10-06 This time Mars becomes an opposition (the sun, the earth, and Mars are on a straight line), and the size is bright and large at 22.5 arcseconds. Local star friends gather and hold a viewing party on Mars. Mars was visible from the cloudy sky, and it was a clear night at 10 pm, and I was able to enjoy Mars as we are using with the 45 cm newtonian and C14. Seeing is also good, and a pale Martian pattern is confirmed at 450 x with a 45 cm + binocular device. At the end, we were thrilled to be able to remove Mars from the field of view of the eyepiece and check the satellite Deimos firmly! The satellite Phobos was too close to Mars to see.

Perseid Meteor Shower and Astronomical Observatory

2020-08-12.13 Perseid Meteor Shower and Astronomical Observatory. Tochigi Prefecture Nasu Pass Parking Lot. This is the Tochigi Astronomical Club meeting. The weather is bad, and I’m sorry that there are only 10 from the clouds. Mr. Nakagami, a member, enjoyed a deep sky using his own 51cm doubsonian telescope and the group’s 31cm dobsonian. At 51 cm, M8, 17.18, 27, net nebula, etc. were really, and the colorless image was a masterpiece. It was a celestial object that could be seen if it had a diameter of 51 cm and a good sky.

Mini Mini Astronomical Observatory

Minimini Astronomical Observatory. 2020-06-10 The last sunny night before the rainy season, it is a watching party for only two people. It was one hour long and covered by clouds at 9pm. I saw M13 with the 45cm reflection (270 times with binocular device, full of Bissiri stars inside, wonderful) M57 (ring nebula/270 times, the ring is slightly bluish, the circumference is reddish. After looking into the globular cluster of M10,14, it ends up as a cloudy sky.

The Kunimi Star Party

The Kunimi Star Party (Nasukarasuyama City, Tochigi Prefecture) began using the astronomical facilities at the Nagamine Visitor Center in Kunimi in 2015, and held an astronomical observatory four times a year to learn about the beauty of the stars. The facilities in the back of the mountain were far from the city and there were few general spectators, so from 2019 we changed the location to Karasuyama station square. Although it was a bright place with street lamps, children and parents in the neighborhood came to peep and regular customers came. However, in April 2020, the visitor center was decided to close, and the telescope at the facility could not be used. Our modest meeting has ended. It was a loose activity for 5 years, but thank you.
