C/2020 M3 ATLAS Comet

2020-10-31 01:50 (JST) The backlash after the mounting became severe, and adjustments were made. I took a picture of a comet in a bright moonlight night to confirm tracking. Did it recover because the sky in the back was bright and it couldn’t make a long exposure? I didn’t know, but I would like it to work even if it change the location to Cebu Island. You can see the tail in the upper right direction. The comet will move north in the future, and let’s take a picture again when there is no moon!

Sirius B

Sirius B 2020-10-18 Every autumn, I observe Sirius B (companion star). The main star, Sirius, is bright and it takes some getting used to seeing it with your own eyes. This time I found it at 200 x. If I used a 17 cm eccentric diaphragm as a test, the spider of the reflecting telescope would disappear and the star image would look like refractor, so I also found Sirius B. The point is to see it when the airflow is good!

Perseid Meteor Shower and Astronomical Observatory

2020-08-12.13 Perseid Meteor Shower and Astronomical Observatory. Tochigi Prefecture Nasu Pass Parking Lot. This is the Tochigi Astronomical Club meeting. The weather is bad, and I’m sorry that there are only 10 from the clouds. Mr. Nakagami, a member, enjoyed a deep sky using his own 51cm doubsonian telescope and the group’s 31cm dobsonian. At 51 cm, M8, 17.18, 27, net nebula, etc. were really, and the colorless image was a masterpiece. It was a celestial object that could be seen if it had a diameter of 51 cm and a good sky.

C/2020 F3 NEOWISE

C/2020 F3 NEOWISE 2020-06-06 It was a height of 30° in the west, and I managed to watch even with a 45 cm newtonian. Brightness is 6th magnitude, with only the comet’s head and no tail visible.
