Veil Nebula 2021-04-23 45 cm F/4 Newtonian
I took a picture of the Veil Nebula (Veil Nebula, NGC 6992-5, NGC 6960) before observing Jupiter. Since it is a large diffused nebula, it is a part of the field of view, but it is a beautiful color of red, blue . Weak image processing suppresses contrast and adjusts to gentle colors. It was a low altitude image in the twilight, but next time I would like to take it at the zenith position!
The bright eastern side is NGC 6992-5 (C33) and the western side is NGC 6960 (C34), and it is thought that the gas of the supernova remnant that exploded tens of thousands of years ago is spreading at 100 km / s (Wikipedia (Wikipedia)
