Mars Observation Party 2020-10-06
This time Mars becomes an opposition (the sun, the earth, and Mars are on a straight line), and the size is bright and large at 22.5 arcseconds.
Local star friends gather and hold a viewing party on Mars. Mars was visible from the cloudy sky, and it was a clear night at 10 pm, and I was able to enjoy Mars as we are using with the 45 cm newtonian and C14.
Seeing is also good, and a pale Martian pattern is confirmed at 450 x with a 45 cm + binocular device.
At the end, we were thrilled to be able to remove Mars from the field of view of the eyepiece and check the satellite Deimos firmly! The satellite Phobos was too close to Mars to see.
